Meet The Staff - Megan Brinkman
Megan Brinkman has been employed at Central Gymnastics Academy since May 2006. She first started her gymnastics career with CGA around age 7. Megan loved gymnastics more than the average kid. She worked very hard on all her skills. At age 13, Megan joined pre-team. She decided to take cheer tumble classes from sixth grade to senior year in high school. She also was on the football and basketball cheerleading squads all four years of high school. In addition to tumbling interests, Megan was a member of the Ashkum go-getters 4-H club for 11 years and an active fashion board member during the Ford-Iroquois Fairs.
Megan took courses her junior and senior years for child care at the Kankakee Area Career Center. After graduating from Clifton Central High School she enrolled in Kankakee Community College, taking early education classes, where she is currently still enrolled as a full time student. She has plans to become a kindergarten teacher. Presently, Megan stays very busy with her school schedule, working part-time for her father at D&D carpets and part-time with Central Gymnastics Academy. She also volunteers her time at church helping with Sunday school classes and vacation bible school. To this day, gymnastics and tumbling remain her passions.
